TONIGHT'S MATCHUP:
Tonight the Cyclones will battle the Elmira Jackals in their third meeting of the season.  The two teams split the season-opening weekend series, Elmira winning 7-3 on October 15 while the ‘Clones took the second game 5-4 in OT...which has been their only win of the season so far.

SCOUTING THE JACKALS:
Elmira comes in leading the Atlantic Division with a 3-1-2-0 record.  It’s no surprise they’re having early success...the Jackals have three players who are in the Top 5 in ECHL scoring.  Justin Donati is tied for 3rd with 10 points, Michael Dubuc is tied for 4th with 9 points, and Yannick Tifu is tied for 5th with 8 points.

"PIERCE"-ING THE JACKALS:

Cyclones forward Matt Pierce had great success against Elmira in their 2-game series last month.  He notched a team-high 5 points (1 goal, 4 assists)...4 of those points coming in the 5-4 Cyclones OT win on October 16.

THE DANGEROUS DUBUC:

The Cyclones have first-hand evidence that Jackals forward Michael Dubuc is an offensive threat.  He had a four-goal game in a 7-3 Elmira win over Cincinnati on October 15.  His 6 goals and 9 points are each tied for 3rd-most in the ECHL this season.

REYNOLDS' RECORD BREAKER

Coming into tonight’s game, Scott Reynolds has logged 213 games with the Cyclones.  He is just 6 games shy of passing Sheldon Gorski for 2nd place on the All-Time Games Played list, who has 218.  Barret Ehgoetz is the leader in this department, skating in a record 276 games.
