Goaltender Chet Pickard Reassigned to Cincinnati

CINCINNATI, Ohio – The 2010 Kelly Cup Champion Cincinnati Cyclones, proud affiliate of the NHL’s Florida Panthers and Nashville Predators, announced today that second-year goaltender Chet Pickard has been reassigned to Cincinnati.

Pickard, the Nashville Predators’ first-round draft pick in 2008, spent the last few weeks with the Milwaukee Admirals – posting a 1-1 record with a 2.29 goals-against average and a .917 save percentage.  Before being called up on December 3, he had played in eight games for the Cyclones this season, picking up his first ECHL win on November 14 against the Toledo Walleye.  During his rookie campaign last year, the Winnipeg, Manitoba native appeared in 36 games for the Milwaukee Admirals, earning a 14-16-3 record with a 2.85 GAA and 89.2 save percentage.

Pickard will join the rest of the Cyclones on the ice this Sunday, December 26, when they meet the Wheeling Nailers at WesBanco Arena at 5:05pm.

The defending Kelly Cup Champions will return to U.S. Bank Arena on Tuesday, December 28 for a reunion with the Toledo Walleye.  It will be a Kids Eat Free night, where fans ages 2-12 will receive a free meal courtesy of John Morrell and Sun Drop.  Discounted ticket packages and single game tickets for the 2010-2011 season are available now.  For more information, call 513.421.PUCK (7825) or visit CyclonesHockey.com.
