Justin Vaive Reassigned to Cyclones

CINCINNATI , Ohio – The Cincinnati Cyclones, proud affiliate of the NHL’s Florida Panthers and Nashville Predators announced today that the San Antonio Rampage of the American Hockey League has reassigned forward Justin Vaive to the club. In a separate transaction, the Cyclones have released forward Ron Cramer.

Vaive, a 22-year old rookie from Buffalo, New York, returns to the Cyclones after spending the last six weeks in the American Hockey League. In 10 games with the Rampage, the former Miami University RedHawk logged 10 penalty minutes thanks to a pair of fighting majors but did not register a point. Prior to his first-career call-up, Vaive played in 37 games with the Cyclones and posted 18 points (6 goals, 12 assists) with 54 minutes in the sin bin.

Vaive is expected to be on the ice tomorrow night as Cincinnati will kick off the final week of regular season play against the Chicago Express at 8:00pm ET. Fans can hear all the action of the game on the Cyclones Radio Network (1050-AM, America One) beginning at 7:45pm.

The Cyclones will return to U.S. Bank Arena on Friday night when they play host to the Toledo Walleye at 7:30pm.
