CINCINNATI, Ohio – The Cincinnati Cyclones, proud affiliate of the NHL’s Florida Panthers and Nashville Predators, announced today their 2014 Training Camp Roster. In addition, the Milwaukee Admirals (AHL) announced that goaltender Rob Madore has been reassigned to Cincinnati.
Madore, a 26-year-old Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native, had a banner year with Cincinnati in 2013-14. He finished the regular season with a 17-12-1 record, a 2.73 goals-against-average and a 90.8 save percentage. His major accolades, however, came during the Cyclones’ lengthy playoff run; Madore set Cyclones postseason records in saves (756) and now ranks second in club history in postseason games played (24), wins (14), and minutes played (1493). He led Cincinnati to within two games of the Kelly Cup title and was named Kelly Cup Playoffs MVP, becoming the ECHL’s first player from the losing team to ever take home the award.
It total, 17 skaters and three goaltenders will participate in Cyclones Training Camp when it opens this morning at Northland Ice Center. The current roster is as follows:
Forwards (12): Phil Bushbacher, Austin Daae (tryout), Greger Hanson, Andrew Huff, Martin Lee, Michael Neal, Brian Nugent, Jon Puskar, Lee Reimer, Kevin Sullivan, Bryce Williamson, Danny Wood (tryout)
Defensemen (5): Dylan King, Devon Krogh, David MacDonald, Michael Quinn, Chris Reed
Goaltenders (3): Joe Howe, Rob Madore, Braely Torris (tryout)
There are also several players under contract with Cincinnati who are participating in AHL Training Camps. Those players are as follows:
San Antonio Rampage (3): Andrew Blazek, Byron Froese, Stephan Vigier
Norfolk Admirals (1): David Pacan
