Cyclones Teddy Bear Toss Garners More than 3,600 Stuffed Toys

CINCINNATI, Ohio – The Cincinnati Cyclones, proud affiliate of the NHL's Florida Panthers and Nashville Predators, announced today that they collected a total of 3,663 stuffed toys during last Saturday's Teddy Bear Toss event at U.S. Bank Arena.

The game last Saturday was played in front of 12,825 fans, the second-largest regular season crowd in club history. Upon Chris Reed's goal in the first period, fans were instructed to toss a new or gently-loved stuffed toy onto the ice - which were then collected an donated to the Cincinnati Police Department to assist in their efforts around the Tri-State.

"We couldn't be more proud of our community for coming together for this great event," said Cyclones General Manager Kristin Ropp. "We were thrilled to see the thousands of fans help bolster the stuffed toy collection for Cincinnati's Police Department and are extremely pleased that we could partner with them for this promotion again this season."

The Cyclones hit the road for a Friday night match-up against the Indy Fuel. The puck drop is set for 7:35pm with pregame coverage on the Cyclones Radio Network beginning at 7:15pm. Fans can also WATCH the game live at the Game Time Sports Bar & Grill in Cheviot.

The Cyclones will be back on the ice at U.S. Bank Arena on Wednesday, January 14 when they play host to the Evansville IceMen!
