FIVE INVITED TO AHL CAMPS

Cyclones Set to Audition for Three Different Teams

CINCINNATI, OH- The Cincinnati Cyclones have announced that five players have been invited to American Hockey League (AHL) camps.

Forwards Adam Payerl and Andrew Yogan, and defenseman Mike Ratchuk will be skating with the Cyclones’ AHL affiliate Milwaukee Admirals in camp, while forward Zack Budish has been invited to the Iowa Wild’s camp (Minnesota Wild), and goaltender Neil Conway will be attending camp with the Grand Rapids Griffins (Detroit Red Wings).

Budish and Yogan each saw time with the Cyclones last season. Yogan only skated in four contests with Cyclones, however he had an immediate impact, tallying seven points (2g, 5a) in those contests. Budish donned the Cyclones crest for 30 games last year, accounting for eight goals and 15 assists.

Payerl and Ratchuk spent last season in the Pittsburgh Penguins system, with Payerl accounting for a pair of goals and seven assists in 41 games for the AHL’s Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, and Ratchuk skating in 28 games for the Wheeling Nailers, totaling 11 points (2g, 9a).

Conway spent 2014-15 in Toledo with the Walleye, compiling an 11-4-4 record, along with a 2.09 goals-against average, and a .928 save percentage. He backstopped the Walleye to three shutouts last season, which is the second most in team history for a single season, and helped Toledo to Game 7 of the Eastern Conference finals with a 4-1-1 playoff record, while posting a 3.21 GAA, and a .905 SV% in six games played.
