T.J. Fast Recalled to Rochester

CINCINNATI, Ohio – The 2010 Kelly Cup Champion Cincinnati Cyclones, proud affiliate of the NHL’s Florida Panthers and Nashville Predators, announced today that defenseman T.J. Fast has been recalled to the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League.

Fast, a 23-year-old native of Calgary, Alberta, will make his first trip to the AHL this season after posting 17 points (7 goals, 10 assists) and 28 penalty minutes in 38 games with the Cyclones in 2010-11.  The 2005 second-round selection (60th overall) of the Los Angeles Kings is currently second among team defensemen in scoring and 16th among ECHL rearguards overall.
 
The six-foot, 185-pound blueliner has appeared in 64 American Hockey League contests over the last two seasons, all with the Peoria Rivermen.  He will join the rest of Americans in Cleveland, Ohio tonight as they take on the Lake Erie Monsters at 7:00pm.

The Cyclones, meanwhile, continue their swing through the North Division tomorrow night when they travel to face the Kalamazoo Wings at 7:30pm.  Hear all the action LIVE on MAX-FM starting at 7:15pm.
