CINCINNATI, Ohio – The Cincinnati Cyclones, proud affiliate of the NHL’s Florida Panthers and Nashville Predators announced today that goaltender Michael Houser has been named the Reebok Hockey ECHL Goaltender of the Week.
Houser, a 20-year-old Youngstown, Ohio native earned a 3-0-0 record this past week with a 2.33 goals-against average and a .932 save percentage. The rookie made 96 saves over the three game stretch, running his unbeaten string to six straight games. Over his last 11 decisions, Houser has amassed a 9-2-0 record.
The Cyclones will return to the ice at U.S. Bank Arena on Wednesday, March 6 when they welcome in the Florida Everblades at 7:30pm.
