CYCLONES ANNOUNCE PLAYOFF ROSTER

Twenty-Two Man Squad to Hit the Ice Friday in Game 1

Cincinnati, OH- Cyclones head coach Matt Macdonald has announced the 22-man roster that will be participating in the 2016 ECHL Kelly Cup Playoffs.

Per ECHL rules, teams are permitted to have a total of 23 players on their final playoff roster, including 19 active players, and up to three players on reserve or who are otherwise eligible. Currently, the Cyclones have 22 of the 23 slots filled for the playoffs, with one spot remaining for an additional player.

Once a team has named a total of 23 players to its playoff roster, or the Conference Finals have begun, that roster shall be fixed for the duration of the playoffs, barring emergency conditions.

Emergency conditions shall be established when the roster is reduced below two goalkeepers and 16 skaters by reason of injury, illness, recall, or suspension by the League. In the event a team releases a player(s) from its playoff roster, its emergency conditions will drop by the same number as the players they release. Only amateur players may be signed and added to the active roster under emergency conditions.
