Second Year Forward Heads To Cincinnati Following Successful Year in Toledo
Cincinnati, OH- Cincinnati Cyclones Head Coach Matt Macdonald has announced that forward Dominic Zombo has signed a Standard Player Contract (SPC) for the 2016-2017 season. Zombo comes to the Queen City after spending his rookie campaign with the Toledo Walleye.
“Dominic is a player that we are excited to bring in to Cincinnati,” remarked Macdonald. “He is a great skater with good hockey IQ, and he plays with energy and enthusiasm. Dominic has a lot of character as well and will work extremely hard for his team and will do what it takes to win, and we believe he will play an important role in our lineup and will help our team next season to be successful.”
A native of Baldwin, MO, Zombo appeared in 69 games with the Walleye last season, accounting for 10 goals and 16 assists, along with 36 penalty minutes.
