Rochester Assigns James DeLory to Cyclones

CINCINNATI, Ohio – The 2010 Kelly Cup Champion Cincinnati Cyclones, proud affiliate of the NHL’s Florida Panthers and Nashville Predators, announced today that defenseman James DeLory has been assigned by the Rochester American of the American Hockey League.

DeLory, a 2006 San Jose Sharks fourth round draft pick, comes to the Queen City after spending the preseason with Rochester.  Prior to skating in the Americans training camp, the six-foot-five defenseman played for the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs of the Central Hockey League – where he posted a pair of goals and one assist  in 36 games last season.  DeLory also spent many years playing in the OHL with the Oshawa Generals, collecting 94 points (17 goals, 77 assists) in 215 games.

He’ll join the rest of the Cyclones as they battle the Elmira Jackals on Friday night to kick-off the 2010-11 regular season at 7:45pm.  Hear the game live on CyclonesHockey.com beginning at 7:25pm.
