Cyclones Defenseman of the Year: Brian O'Hanley

After the Cyclones Nation Vote...your Defenseman of the Year is Brian O'Hanley. 


O'Hanley was one of the Cyclones most stable rear guards during the 2010-11 season, in addtion to posing a substantial offensive threat from the point.  His talents were good enough to earn him 18 games at the AHL level.

 


Here are some of O'Hanley's season highlights:


  • Selected to 2011 ECHL All-Star Classic (first-ever ASG)...had assist, +4 in the game.


  • 5 multi-point games in regular season season....1 multi-point game in playoffs.

 

  • He was among the top defenesive scoreres in the ECHL this season...spending several weeks in the top 10 and finished the year tied for 20th among all league rear guards.  He had 7 goals and 22 assists during the 2010-11 season.
