Defenseman Adam Comrie Headed Back to Rochester

CINCINNATI, Ohio – The 2010 Kelly Cup Champion Cincinnati Cyclones, proud affiliate of the NHL’s Florida Panthers and Nashville Predators, announced today that defenseman Adam Comrie has been recalled to the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League.

Comrie, a 2008 Florida Panthers third-round draft choice, rejoins the Americans after a brief two-game stint with the Cyclones this week.  In 15 games with Cincinnati this year (including playoffs), the 20-year-old Asburn, Virginia native earned 10 points (5 goals, 5 assists) and 18 penalty minutes.  With another tally on Tuesday night in Reading, Comrie has scored a goal in five of his previous seven games in a Cyclones jersey.  Collectively at the Triple-A level this year, the rookie rear guard logged 41 games with the Americans and posted five assists with 14 penalty minutes.

He will join the Americans on the ice tomorrow night as they host the Binghamton Senators at 7:35pm.

The defending Kelly Cup Champions will return to U.S. Bank Arena TOMORROW night when they host the Royals in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals at 7:30pm.  Friday’s contest will also feature $1 Donatos Pizza slices.  Game 4 will be on Saturday night at U.S. Bank Arena and will feature $1 John Morrell hot dogs.  2011 Kelly Cup Playoff tickets and 2011-12 season tickets are on sale NOW!  For more information, call 513.421.PUCK (7825) or visit CyclonesHockey.com.
