Milwaukee Assigns Chris Cahill to Cyclones

CINCINNATI, Ohio – The Cincinnati Cyclones, proud affiliate of the NHL’s Florida Panthers and Nashville Predators, announced that forward Chris Cahill has been assigned by the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League.

Cahill, a rookie forward from Haverhill, Massachusetts, begins his professional career after earning four letters at Yale University. In 126 career games with the Bulldogs, the 24-year-old earned 75 points (31 goals, 44 assists) and helped his team earn the ECAC Championship in 2008-09. Last season, he was named to the ECAC Third All-Star Team after a banner year with 34 points (15 goals, 19 assists) in 35 games. Including a brief post-collegiate stint with Milwaukee last spring, Cahill has logged six games at the AHL level, but is still in search of his first professional point.

Cahill will join the rest of the Cyclones on the ice this Saturday when they visit the Kalamazoo Wings for the second time in three weeks. The opening faceoff from Wings Stadium is set for 7:30pm with pre-game coverage on the Cyclones Radio Network (1050-AM, America One) beginning at 7:15pm.
