Forward Garrett Wilson Returns to Cyclones

CINCINNATI, Ohio – The Cincinnati Cyclones, proud affiliate of the NHL’s Florida Panthers and Nashville Predators, announced today that forward Garrett Wilson has been reassigned to the club by the San Antonio Rampage of the American Hockey League.

Wilson, a fourth-round selection of the Florida Panthers in 2009, made his first career trip to the AHL this past weekend and skated in a pair of games but did not earn a point. With the Cyclones this season, the Elmvale, Ontario native leads the Cyclones in points (5) and is tied for the lead in multi-point games (2). In fact, prior to the call-up, he has posted back-to-back multi-point games.

Wilson will be in uniform this Friday night when the Cyclones travel to take on the Chicago Express at the Sears Center as their 16-game regular season series continues. Pregame coverage on the Cyclones Radio Network (1050-AM, America One) will get underway at 8:15pm ET with the opening face-off dropping at 8:30pm ET.

The Cyclones will return to U.S. Bank Arena this Saturday night for Military Appreciation Night against the Trenton Devils at 7:30pm. Cincinnati will wear specialty jerseys that will be auctioned off after the game in addition to FREE Cyclones Car Magnets given to every fan in attendance.
