THIS PAST WEEK:

About Saturday Night vs. Greenville: Anthony Luciani’s second goal of the night came with just 1:24 to play in regulation as he lifted the Cyclones to a 6-5 triumph over the Road Warriors in front of 4,785 at U.S. Bank Arena. Luciani ended up with a three point night while Mathieu Aubin, Evan Trupp, Mike Pelech, and Daniel Koger all posted two-point games.

About Tuesday Night vs. Greenville: Forward Justin Bowers was the lone goal-scorer in the shootout as the Road Warriors escaped with a 4-3 victory over the Cyclones in front of 1,446 at U.S. Bank Arena. Daniel Koger extended his point-scoring streak to three games with his second multipoint game of the season.

SHOTS FROM THE POINT:

Fishing For Revenge: This weekend, Cyclones will have an opportunity to avenge a pair of losses to the Toledo Walleye with a home-and-home series against the “Fish” beginning Friday night at the Huntington Center. The Clones currently hold three games in hand on Nick Vitucci’s club but trail them in the North Division standings by three points. A pair of Cyclones wins would leapfrog them back into third place.

A Busy Day of Transactions: The Cyclones have had a very busy Monday when it comes to the roster. Forward Chris Cahill was reassigned to the Cyclones after spending the weekend with the Milwaukee Admirals. In addition, forward Daniel Koger (who has now posted goals in three-straight home games) was called up to the AHL for the first time in his career - being summoned by the St. John's Ice Caps. Finally, defenseman Jeremy Klaver along with forwards Tyler Fletcher and Berkley Scott have been released by the team today.

Home is Where the Wins Are: With another three-points added to their home totals this year, the Clones remain on the ECHL’s best home point-scoring streak. With a record of 5-0-0-2 at U.S. Bank Arena, they are still the only team in the league to have not lost a regulation game at home and are outscoring their opponents by a total of 26-20 (an average of 3.7-2.8 per game).

Coors Light Jarrod Skalde Show TONIGHT: Join Head Coach Jarrod Skalde and Voice of the Cyclones Nick Brunker at Gameworks in Newport on the Levee every Monday from 7-8pm!
