Ben Ryan Reassigned to Cyclones

CINCINNATI, Ohio – The Cincinnati Cyclones, proud affiliate of the NHL’s Florida Panthers and Nashville Predators, announced today that forward Ben Ryan has been reassigned to the club by the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League.

Ryan, Nashville’s fourth-round draft choice in 2007, will make his second visit to the Queen City this year after skating in three games for Jarrod Skalde’s team in October. With the Cyclones in 2011-12, he has earned three points (1 goal, 2 assists). He also logged six games with the Milwaukee Admirals before getting sidelined with a concussion on November 19.

Prior to going pro, the five-foot-eleven forward was a four-year letter winner at the University of Notre Dame where he was among the top-six scorers in each of his collegiate seasons. During his days in South Bend, Ryan notched 97 points in 159 career games with the Fighting Irish.

Ryan is expected to be in the lineup tonight for the Cyclones as they host Toledo at U.S. Bank Arena.
