TONIGHT'S MATCHUP: For the first time since November 24, the Cyclones will face a non-division opponent as they welcome in the Florida Everblades for the first of two games in three nights at U.S. Bank Arena. These two teams have had limited head-to-head experience over the years; since 2006, the Clones and Everblades have met just 16 times, with Cincinnati owning a 9-7-0 record. At U.S. Bank Arena, Cincinnati has collected a 5-5 mark against their Sunshine State foes.

TONIGHT'S PROMOTION: WET WEDNESDAY / UGLY SWEATER PARTY - Fans 21+ can enjoy $1 PBR and Miller High Life! Plus, fans are encouraged to wear their best ugly holiday sweaters! Cash prizes will be awarded to the best!

SCOUTING THE EVERBLADES: Greg Poss’ club has been one of the top scoring teams in the ECHL, but they’ve also been one of the league’s most futile defenses. Florida is averaging 3.91 goals per game, which is tied for third most in the league; however they are allowing an average of 4.09 goals per game - the second most among all 23 teams. Matthew Roy is atop the Everblades scoring list by posting 27 points (9 goals, 18 assists) in 22 games. His totals rank sixth-most in the ECHL. Matt Marquardt has also been a dangerous offensive weapon this year, compiling 24 points (14 goals, 10 assists) in 21 games. Another one of Florida’s strengths this season has been its power play; they currently rank fourth in the ECHL with a 23.3% conversion rate. With the NHL Lockout still going on, the ‘Blades have recently added some top-level talent. Colorado Avalanche rear guard Ryan O’Byrne and Boston Bruins defenseman Mark Stuart have both bolstered Florida’s back-end unit.

He’s Baaaack: Rookie forward David Pacan has been returned to the Cyclones this week after spending the last two weeks in San Antonio (AHL). During his most recent call-up, Pacan registered a pair of assists. With the Clones this year, he has earned 3 goals and 10 assists - ranking 11th among rookies.

Home Sweet Home: Cincinnati has found tremendous success at 100 Broadway this season. At U.S. Bank Arena, the Cyclones have compiled a 9-3-0 record - which paces the Eastern Conference and ranks tied for third overall in the ECHL. Only Alaska and Stockton have better winning percentages on home ice. Cincinnati has the longest active home winning streak in the ECHL - stringing four straight together.
