The Cincinnati Cyclones, proud affiliate of the NHL’s Florida Panthers and Nashville Predators, unveiled the four specialty jerseys that the team will wear for designated games this season. Each of the specialty jerseys will be auctioned off immediately following the game in which they were worn with net proceeds benefitting one of the Cyclones charitable partners.
Star Wars Night – Friday, November 15
For the first time in team history, the Cyclones will celebrate Star Wars Night. To commemorate the evening, the team will wear special Storm Trooper inspired jerseys.
Throwback Night – Saturday, January 4
One of the most popular annual promotions returns this January as the Cyclones celebrate Throwback Night. This season the Cyclones will wear Cincinnati Swords inspired jerseys in honor of the Swords 1973 Calder Cup Championship. Net proceeds of this jersey auction will benefit Most Valuable Kids.
Super Hero/Military Night – Saturday, February 1
Another popular returning promotion is Military Night where the Cyclones acknowledge our everyday super heroes. The Cyclones will play to the Super Hero theme by wearing Captain America themed jerseys. The evening will also feature an appearance by Iron Man and the first 1,500 kids ages 2-12 will receive a Cyclones cape! Net proceeds of this jersey auction will benefit AFTA.
Pink in the Rink Night – Saturday, March 1
The Cyclones longest running community outreach is back again this season as Pink in the Rink celebrates its eighth season at U.S. Bank Arena. Once again the Cyclones will team up with the Pink Ribbon Girls to help raise breast cancer awareness. Net proceeds of this jersey auction will benefit The Pink Ribbon Girls.
The countdown to the 2013 First Face-Off is nearly complete! The Cyclones open the season at U.S. Bank Arena against the Wheeling Nailers on Saturday, October 19 at 7:30pm.
