The Cincinnati Cyclones, proud affiliate of the NHL’s Florida Panthers and Nashville Predators, announced today the initial round of weekday theme nights. While the traditional promotions of Big Beer Tuesday, Wet Wednesday, and Thirsty Thursday will continue, each night will be themed to add an extra ‘More Than Just A Game’ element. The remaining weekday theme nights and promotions will be announced at a later date.
Walking Dead Night – Thursday, October 24
Just in time for Halloween, the Cyclones will salute one of the top cable programs and comic book franchises in recent memory. Fans are encouraged to dress in costume and the top zombie of the night will win a great prize.
Country Night – Wednesday, November 13
This popular weekday theme is back as the Cyclones encourage fans to grab their boots and cowboy hats as the Cyclones go Country for the night. Country music will be played throughout the game and those supporting the country theme will be eligible for great prizes.
Movember Night – Wednesday, November 27
The Cyclones once again join the Movember movement to help raise awareness for Men’s Health. Cyclones fans and players alike are encouraged to grow out their mustache and join the Movember movement. Stache season starts on November 1st and the 27th will be a celebration of Mo Bros and the ladies that support them.
Ugly Sweater Party Night – Tuesday, December 10
You know that ugly sweater that sits in the back of your closet never to see the light. Now is its chance to shine! Fans are encouraged to dust off their ugliest sweaters and come together to celebrate these woven masterpieces. The best sweater of the night will win a cash prize.
Anchorman Night – Tuesday, December 17
The Cyclones are proud to celebrate the Channel 4 News Team in anticipation of the release of Anchorman 2 the following week. The night will focus on all things Ron Burgundy. Fans are encouraged to dress as their favorite character. Stay Classy Cincinnati!
The countdown to the 2013 First Face-Off is nearly complete! The Cyclones open the season at U.S. Bank Arena against the Wheeling Nailers on Saturday, October 19 at 7:30pm.
