2014-15 Season Preview - February

February, although the shortest month of the year, packs plenty of action into 28 days. In total, the Cyclones will play 12 games (7 home, 5 away) with several marquee promotions included!

The action kicks off on Wednesday, February 4 at U.S. Bank Arena when the ‘Clones host Kalamazoo - their final meeting of the regular season. In addition to $1 beers, we’ll be hosting “Walking Dead Night” - where we pay homage to the cult classic TV show!

The following weekend will be spent on the road as the team will make their final visit to Elmira on Friday, February 6 before circling back through Wheeling on Saturday, February 7.

After a few days of rest, they’ll be back on the ice at 100 Broadway against the Reading Royals on Wednesday, February 11. Another “Wet Wednesday” means $1 beers for fans 21 and up, plus our “Halfway to Halloween Night” - where fans are encouraged to dress up in their best themed attire!

On Friday, February 13, we’ll be giving away a limited-edition Cyclones blanket to the first 2,000 fans through the gates - as the Indy Fuel come to town. One night later, Cincinnati returns the favor by making a trip to the Hoosier State Capital on Valentines Day.

The busy weekend will come to a close for the Cyclones on Sunday, February 15 when they host the annual Meijer Kids Club Matinee Game - featuring a 4:05pm face-off. But we’re kicking it up a notch this season; pre-registered Kids Club Members will be invited onto the ice after the game to participate in a special “Paint the Ice” promotion!

On Wednesday, February 18, the third straight “Wet Wednesday” will take place at U.S. Bank Arena against Evansville. We’ll have $1 Beer PLUS Instagram your nachos, PBR specials, and music from people you have never heard of - in what we call "Hipster Night!" 

After a Friday visit to Toledo on February 20, the ‘Clones will host their 2nd Annual Fireworks Extravaganza presented by CBTS! Enjoy a night of hockey against Reading, then stick around for an indoor pyrotechnics display that you’ll truly need to see to believe!

The following Friday, February 27, will feature a unique and inaugural promotion for the Cyclones - Parrothead Night!! The Cyclones will honor Jimmy Buffett and the first 2,000 fans will receive a Cyclones beach towel. The Cyclones will auction off specialty jerseys after the game! Plus, plenty of great “warm-weather” music will fill the air at U.S. Bank Arena!

The month of February will close on the road, as the ‘Clones make their final trip to Evansville on February 28.
