CINCINNATI, Ohio – The Cincinnati Cyclones, proud affiliate of the NHL's Florida Panthers and Nashville Predators announced today that defenseman Jonathan Diaby and forward Joe Pendenza have been reassigned to the club from the Milwaukee Admirals.
Diaby (Dee-AH-Bee), Nashville’s third-round selection in 2013, comes to the Queen City after skating in 10 games with the Milwaukee Admirals this season. He made his pro debut with the “Ads” last year, earning his first pro assist in a total of four games. Prior to going pro, the 20-year-old, logged 175 games over four seasons with the Victoriaville Tigres where he amassed 63 points and 280 penalty minutes. He was a two-time Alternate Captain of the Tigres in each of his final two amateur campaigns.
Pendenza (Pen-DEN-zah), a 24-year-old forward, continues his rookie campaign with 13 games and three goals under his belt this year with Milwaukee. He made his pro debut last year with the Admirals after completing a four-year career with UMass-Lowell. In 152 collegiate games, the Wilmington, Massachusetts native compiled 110 points (49g, 61) and helped his team capture the 2012-13 Hockey East Championship.
