Byron Froese Selected to 2015 ECHL All-Star Classic

CINCINNATI, Ohio – The Cincinnati Cyclones, proud affiliate of the NHL's Florida Panthers and Nashville Predators, announced today that Byron Froese has been selected to the 2015 ECHL All-Star Classic in Orlando, Florida.

Froese, a 23-year-old forward, amassed 24 points (8g, 16a) in 17 games for the Cyclones before getting loaned to the AHL's Toronto Marlies. Prior to his call-up, the Winkler, Manitoba native was riding a 10-game point scoring streak, the fifth-longest of any ECHL player this season.

The midseason event, which is set to take place on Wednesday, January 21, will feature some of the ECHL's top players going up against the Orlando Solar Bears - who are hosting the ECHL All-Star Classic at the Amway Center. For more details and ticket information, click here.

The Cyclones hit the road for a Friday night match-up against the Indy Fuel. The puck drop is set for 7:35pm with pregame coverage on the Cyclones Radio Network beginning at 7:15pm. Fans can also WATCH the game live at the Game Time Sports Bar & Grill in Cheviot.
