Scouting the IceMen: Al Simms’ club has won just three of its last ten games and remain eight points back of Cincinnati coming into the night. Brandon Wong is atop the team in scoring with 27 points (13g, 14a) in 32 games. Kale Kerbashian has also been a dangerous weapon, offensively; through 33 games of work, he’s posted 25 tallies (9g, 16a) despite owning a dismal -16 plus/minus rating. Chris Driedger has been the workhorse for the IceMen between the pipes this season, amassing a 7-15-1-1 record with a 3.54 goals-against average. Recently acquired Scott Greenham has split a pair of games with a 2.52 GAA.

Last Time Out: A 29-save shutout performance from goaltender Joel Martin led the Wings past the Cyclones by a 3-0 final score in front of 2,795 at Wings Stadium.

Shooting Shutdown: Cincinnati has remained extremely solid in the shots-on-goal department. They rank fifth in the ECHL and second in the Eastern Conference by allowing an average of 27.66 shots per game.

Finding Stride in Net: Since returning from Christmas, Cyclones goaltender Sam Brittain has really turned up his play. He’s gone 4-1 in his last five starts and amassed a 2.20 goals-against average in that stretch with a 92.6% save percentage.
