CINCINNATI, Ohio – The Cincinnati Cyclones, proud affiliate of the NHL's Florida Panthers and Nashville Predators, announced today that defenseman MacKenzie Weegar has been reassigned to the San Antonio Rampage (AHL). In a separate transaction, the Milwaukee Admirals have loaned goaltender Rob Madore to the Cyclones.
Weegar, Florida's seventh-round draft pick in 2013, has appeared in 11 games for the Cyclones this season and amassed six points (1g, 5a) along with a +2 rating in that span. In 19 AHL games with the Rampage in 2014-15, the 21-year-old has collected five tallies (1g, 4a) and 21 penalty minutes.
Madore (Muh-DOOR) didn't appear in any games for the Admirals in his latest AHL call-up. With the Cyclones this season, last year's Kelly Cup Playoffs MVP has gone 8-8-0-3 with a 2.71 goals-against average.
