Sam Brittain Recalled to Florida Panthers

ORLANDO, Florida – The Cincinnati Cyclones, proud affiliate of the NHL's Florida Panthers and Nashville Predators, announced today a trio of roster moves. Goaltender Sam Brittain has been recalled to the NHL, joining the Florida Panthers. To fill his spot on the roster, the Cyclones have added Kris Kavanagh as an emergency back-up.

Brittain, Florida's fourth round draft pick in 2010, heads to the NHL for the second time this season after Roberto Luongo and Al Montoya both left the Panthers' game against Toronto last night. Brittain was recalled to the NHL in early January, but did not dress for a game. This season for the Cyclones, the University of Denver alum has posted a 14-11-0-1 with a 2.71 goals-against average - the third best GAA of any ECHL rookie net minder.
