Tonight's Matchup: After a thrilling overtime victory on Tuesday, the Cyclones look to keep their playoff hopes alive as they host back-to-back divisional games at U.S. Bank Arena beginning tonight against the Indy Fuel. The Clones have earned points in five of their eight meetings with their Hoosier State foes, going 5-2-1.

Scouting the Fuel: Scott Hillman’s club dropped a 3-2 shootout decision on Wednesday night against Toledo and now sit three points back of the Cyclones in the North Division race. Veteran forward Garett Bembridge has been the club’s leading scorer for much of the year with 55 points (27g, 28a) in 63 games. Kyle Stroh has also been a regular point-getter, notching 49 tallies (22g, 21a) in 66 games. After having a dismal start to the season, goaltender Mac Carruth has come on strong with a 15-13-2-4 record and a 2.57 goals-against average. Shane Owen has also seen regular action in the Indy net; overall he’s 13-16-1-1 with a 3.01 GAA.
Last Time Out: Geoff Irwin potted the game-winning goal just 57 seconds into overtime to lift the Cyclones over the Walleye by a 3-2 final score in front of 2,121 at U.S. Bank Arena. Irwin’s goal was part of a three-point night while Josh McFadden and David MacDonald each had goals in the affair.
Playing Nice: Although they’ve proven they can mix it up at times, the Cyclones are one of the least-penalized teams in the ECHL this season. Through 67 games, they are averaging the fourth-fewest penalty minutes of any team in the league (13.60).
Multi-Point Madness: The Cyclones have been an offense-by-committee all season long. In fact, 28 different players have registered at least one multi-point game during 2014-15 while 13 different players have posted multi-goal games. Josh Shalla leads the club in both categories with nine multi-point games and a pair of multi-goal games.
