LAST WEEK RECAP:
Saturday Recap:The Cincinnati Cyclones (9-3-1-1) earned a 4-3 shootout win over the Orlando Solar Bears on Saturday night. Forwards Joe Wilson, Branden Gracel, and Jack Downing netted the goals in regulation for the Cyclones, who earn their first overtime or shootout win of the season. Cincinnati was outshot, 27-24 on the night, while the power play was held scoreless on all three attempts.
Friday Recap: The Cincinnati Cyclones (8-3-1-1) fell to the Indy Fuel, 2-1, on Friday night. Forward Joe Wilson netted the lone goal for the Cyclones, who lose their first game at home in regulation. Goaltender Brad Thiessen stopped 26 of the 28 shots he faced, while the power play was held scoreless on its only chance.
Tuesday Morning Recap: The Cincinnati Cyclones (8-2-1-1) picked up a 3-1 win over the Alaska Aces on Tuesday Morning. Forwards Christiaan Minella, Nick Huard, and Peter Quenneville netted the goals for the Cyclones. Huard also added an assist to extend his point streak to six games. Goaltender Brad Thiessen was solid in net tonight, stopping 30 of the 31 shots he faced to earn the win. Cincinnati was outshot, 31-26 on the night, while the power play converted on 1-of-2 opportunities.

News and Notes:
Offense on Display: Forwards Joe Pendenza, Nick Huard and Zach Budish have been key contributors to the offense in recent games. Pendenza extended his point streak to six games with an assist in last night’s 3-1 loss to the Indy Fuel, and has scored 11 of his 12 points on the season (5g, 6a) over the last seven games. Huard had his six-game point streak snapped on Friday night, however he has accounted for three goals and six assists over the last seven games played. Huard is fourth in ECHL rookie scoring with 13 points (4g, 9a). Budishhas tallied all 10 of his points this season over the last nine games, accounting for three goals and seven assists in that span. He had his seven-game point streak snapped on Tuesday, which was the second longest in the ECHL this season.
First For the Kid: Forward Peter Quenneville notched his first professional goal in Tuesday’s 3-1 win over Alaska. He also had an assist in Friday’s 2-1 loss to the Indy Fuel, and added another one in Saturday’s 4-3 shootout win over the Orlando Solar Bears, and now has seven points through the first 13 games of his pro career (1g, 6a).
They’ve got the Power!: The Cyclones’ power play has been stellar through the team’s first 13 games, ranking fourth in the ECHL, converting on 23.4% (11-of-47) of man-advantage opportunities. The Cyclones have lit the lamp on the power play in five of their last seven games, and the team has accounted for 31 points on the power play this season (11g, 22a). Forwards Nick Huard and Joe Pendenza are tied for the team lead in power play scoring with five points each (2g, 3a.)
Playing Stingy: The Cyclones are currently tied for second in the ECHL with 2,00 goals allowed per game. Cincinnati has let in 28 goals this season, which is second fewest in the League. They have allowed two or more goals on just six occasions (10/30- KAL- L, 3-1…11/6- ADK- W, 4-2...11/10- WHL- L, 7-5…11/14- KAL- OTL, 2-1...11/20- IND- L, 2-1…11/21-ORL-SOW, 4-3).
