CYCLONES ANNOUNCE 2016-2017 PROMOTIONAL SCHEDULE

A Number of Popular Nights Return for Upcoming Season

Cincinnati, OH - The Cincinnati Cyclones have announced their Promotional Schedule for the upcoming 2016-2017 season. The schedule is highlighted by a number of events, giveaways, appearances and more that have proven to be fan favorites for many seasons.

This year sees the return of Princess Night, Superhero Night, Star Wars Night, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Night. Fans young and old will have the opportunity to meet and take photos with some of their favorite princesses, superheroes, Star Wars Characters, and The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. As an added bonus, Star Wars and TMNT night will feature specialty jerseys that will be auctioned off following the games.

The 2016-17 promo schedule will also feature a number of marquee events, including First Face-Off, Throwback Night, Ugly Christmas Sweater Blanket Night, New Year's Eve, Cyclones Fight Cancer Night, Kids Matinee Game, Wiener Dog Races, and Fan Appreciation Weekend. First Face-Off, Throwback Night and Fan Appreciation Weekend are some of the more popular events on the Cyclones' schedule, and will feature dollar beer, soda, hot dogs and pizza. In addition, Throwback night will also include the ever-popular Teddy Bear Toss and tickets to that game are just $10.

Ugly Christmas Sweater Blanket Night will serve as Cincinnati's holiday celebration and will include a Christmas-themed blanket giveaway, and for a second consecutive year, the Cyclones will be hosting a game on New Year's Eve that will feature a post-game indoor fireworks show. Additionally, Cincinnati will be doing its part in helping to fight cancer with Cyclones Fight Cancer Night which will benefit multiple charities in the area.

This season will also see the return of the Kids' Matinee Game that lets Cyclones Kids Club members paint the ice following the Sunday matinee. The Cyclones have brought back Wiener Dog Races to this year's promo schedule as well, and that night will see the return of the popular Dachshund Dash during one of the intermissions.

The Cyclones are also bringing back some of their most popular giveaway nights such as Winter Hat Night, Kids Jersey T-Shirt Night, and Adult T-Shirt Night. Additionally, the Cyclones will be giving away the first-ever Puckchop Plush that will celebrate the new mascot that debuted last season.

Key Giveaway Dates:

It would not be Cyclones Hockey with out Dollar Beer Night, and this season will feature 15 Dollar Beer Nights, along with four $2 Dollar Tall Boy nights.
