CYCLONES SEND THREE TO MILWAUKEE’S AHL CAMP

Cincinnati’s AHL Affiliate Opens Training Camp Today

 

Cincinnati, OH- Cincinnati Cyclones Head Coach Matt Macdonald has announced that forwards Shawn O’Donnell, Kenny Ryan, and Dominic Zombo have been invited to training camp with the Milwaukee Admirals- the American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate. Signed by Cincinnati this past offseason, both O’Donnell and Ryan have spent the majority of their pro careers in the AHL, while Zombo is coming off of a successful rookie season with the Toledo Walleye.

O’Donnell has accounted for 18 points in 128 AHL games with the Hartford Wolf Pack, while Ryan has 239 games of AHL service to his credit and has amassed for 77 points. Zombo made his pro debut with the Walleye last season, appearing in 69 games and totaling 26 points. 

Additionally, defenseman Eric Knodel has been sent to Milwaukee’s camp after spending the last week in training camp with the Nashville Predators of the National Hockey League (NHL). Knodel was also signed by the Cyclones in the offseason and has 10 points in 33 AHL games.
