POWELL REASSIGNED TO CINCINNATI

Forward Joins the ‘Clones Prior to Weekend Three-in-Three

 

Cincinnati, OH- The Cincinnati Cyclones, proud ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s (NHL) Buffalo Sabres and the American Hockey League’s (AHL) Rochester Americans, have announced that forward Myles Powell has been reassigned to Cincinnati by the Americans.

A native of Comox, BC, Powel has appeared in a pair of games for the Americans this season, however has yet to record a point. He began his pro career late in the 2017-18 season, skating in nine games between the Cyclones and Americans and recording a goal and two assists.

He played collegiately at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), where he accounted for 105 points (45g, 60a) in 149 career games. He was also named team captain during his junior season of 2016-17. He also spent three junior hockey seasons in the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL), where he accumulated 108 points (44g, 64a) in 151 games between three teams.
