Ege Signs PTO with Rochester

The Rochester Americans, Cincinnati's AHL affiliate, have signed defenseman Wyatt Ege to a Professional Tryout (PTO). Ege will join the Amerks ahead of the team's next scheduled game on Wednesday, December 1st

  •  Ege, 26, is one of five skaters to have played in all 15 games for the Cyclones throughout the 2021-22 campaign. 
  • The first year ECHL blue liner posted three goals and six assists, leading all defensemen on the team in points. The Elk River, Minnesota native has an assist in three straight games, and points in five of his last six contests. 
  • Ege becomes the third player sent from Cincinnati to Rochester in the last four days, joining Dominic Franco and fellow defenseman Nick Boka. Overall, the Cyclones have sent six players to the AHL since the start of the season, with Ege joining Boka, Franco, Michael Houser, and Peter Tischke in Rochester, while forward Graham Knott is currently in Milwaukee.
