Ege, Polino Sign with AHL Bruins

Defenseman Wyatt Ege and forward Patrick Polino have been called-up and signed Professional Tryout agreements with the Providence Bruins; the AHL affiliate of the Boston Bruins.

Additionally, Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Jason Payne has signed goaltender Sean Bonar to a Standard Player Contract. Bonar's signing comes as a result of goaltender Mat Robson getting recalled to AHL-Rochester on Monday.

  • Ege, 26, is one of three skaters to have played in all 18 games for the Cyclones throughout the 2021-22 campaign. The first year ECHL blue liner posted three goals and seven assists, leading all defensemen on the team in points. The Elk River, Minnesota native has points in six of his last nine contests.
  • Polino, 26, is tied for the team lead in points with five goals and 15 points through 17 games played with the Cyclones this season. The Buffalo, NY native was the runner-up for the ECHL's Rookie of the Month Award for November, where his top performance came on Thanksgiving Eve when Polino posted a career-high four point game (two goals, two assists).
