YEAMANS BACK WITH CYCLONES

YEAMANS BACK WITH CYCLONES

The Cyclones executed a pair of transactions ahead of the team's three-game homestand beginning Friday night, including the addition of forward Brandon Yeamans, who signed a Standard Player Contract (SPC). Yeamans is expected to be in the lineup for the Cyclones' Friday night game against South Carolina.

Yeamans, 24, returns to Cincinnati for his second tour of duty with the team this season. The scrappy forward played 13 games with the 'Clones to start the 2022-23 campaign before being dealt to Florida. Yeamans appeared in four games with the Everblades before again switching teams and arriving in Jacksonville. There, the Maple, Ontario native scored a goal while skating in 23 games for the Icemen. Yeamans began his professional career with the Cyclones last season, accumulating 66 penalty minutes in 30 games.

In other transaction-related news, the Cyclones have released defenseman Dajon Mingo. The seventh-year pro and former ECHL All-Star appeared in 75 regular season games over the last two years with the Cyclones, serving as one of the team's Alternate Captains. He led the team's defense in scoring last season with eight goals and 32 points, then added five points in seven playoff games. The 32-year-old skated in 21 games with the 'Clones this season, tallying three goals and 11 assists with a +13 rating.
