CYCLONES TRADE FOR COLE FRASER FROM STINGRAYS

CINCINNATI, OH – The Cyclones received defenseman Cole Fraser from the Stingrays on Friday in exchange for future considerations. With South Carolina this season, Fraser has played in 11 games and posted two assists.

Last year, the 24-year-old suited up for 36 games with the Toledo Walleye and recorded nine points (2g, 7a). Cole also played in 11 contests for the Dundee Stars in the EIHL.   

The Ottawa native has also seen time with at the ECHL level with the Allen Americans and Utah Grizzlies. He has one game of AHL experience with the Belleville Senators.

Prior to turning pro, the 6-3, 205 lbs. defenseman notched over 220 games in the OHL with the Peterborough Petes. During his time at the junior level, Fraser racked up 14 goals and 54 points throughout four seasons.
