CYCLONES SHUTOUT BY THE KOMETS

CINCINNATI, OH – The Cyclones fell to the Komets 2-0 Saturday night inside the Heritage Bank Center. Cincinnati is now 1-2-0-0 against Fort Wayne this season.

* Fort Wayne got on the board first after drawing a powerplay. AHL contracted Alexis D’Aoust shot one over the shoulder of Cyclones’ goalie Olof Lindbom at the 9:42 mark of the frame.

* In the second period, the Komets received another man-advantage after killing off multiple Cyclones powerplays in-a-row. Ethan De Jong received a pass in the far circle and sniped upstairs for his 2nd goal of the season to make it 2-0 Komets.

Up next, Cincinnati hits the road to take on Toledo inside the Huntington Center. Sunday, January 28th, the ‘Clones take on the Walleye for a 5:15pm ET puck drop.
