CYCLONES MAKE TRADE WITH GHOST PIRATES

CINCINNATI, OH -- The Cincinnati Cyclones, proud ECHL affliate of the New York Rangers, have acquired forward Weiland Parrish from the Savannah Ghost Pirates for cash considerations.

A native of Bloomington, Minnesota, Parrish has skated with four different teams this 2023-2024 season. Weiland began the year playing 12 games for the Rapid City Rush, before joining the Quad City Storm for a short stint in the SPHL. In the new year, the 26-year-old signed with the Florida Everblades back up in the ECHL for five contests. Weiland most recently suited up for one game with the Savannah Ghost Pirates.

Last season, the lefty spent the bulk of his time with Rapid City and logged four goals with six assists.

Prior to his professional career, Parrish played his college hockey at Hamline University in Minnesota. The 6'1, 170 lbs. skater wore the 'A' for one of his collegiate years and finished school with 29 points (16g, 13a).
