CYCLONES FALL ON ROAD TO K-WINGS

KALAMAZOO, MI – The Cyclones came up short against the Wings 4-1 on Friday night inside the Wings Event Center. Cincinnati falls to 2-4-1-0 against Kalamazoo in the regular season series with three more matchups to come in-a-row.

* The Cyclones opened the scoring on the man-advantage 8:46 into the 1st period. Remy Parker received a feed from Keanan Stewart behind the net and slid the puck past Kalamazoo’s Jonathan Lemieux. The K-Wings responded to tie the game 1-1 when Josh Passolt crashed the crease two minutes after Cincy got the lead.

* In the 2nd period, Brad Morrison roofed a wrist shot past his former teammate and Cyclones goaltender Pavel Cajan. Kalamazoo doubled its lead when Ayden MacDonald deflected in a point shot from the high slot.

 * Kalamazoo tacked on an empty-net goal courtesy of Jordan Seyfert. Jonathan Lemieux recorded 28 saves in the victory, while Pavel Cajan took the loss making 28 stops.

Up next, Cincinnati heads back to the Heritage Bank Center for the final homestand of the regular season. The Cyclones and the Nailers drop the puck Saturday March 30th at 7:30pm ET.
