CINCINNATI, OH – The Cyclones bested the Fuel 4-1 in a Central Division battle inside the Heritage Bank Center Saturday night. Cincinnati improves to 4-1-0-0 against Indy in the regular season series.
* Zack Andrusiak continued his hot stretch during the 1st period with his 9th goal in the last six games. He blasted in his 30th goal of the season past Zach Driscoll on a pass from Sahil Panwar who sped into the offensive zone. Cyclones goaltender Rylan Parenteau made ten stops in the frame and would finish the night making 32 of a possible 33 saves.
* In the 2nd period, Mike Ferraro placed a shot perfectly over the glove off a two-on-one rush to double the lead. Cincy jumped in front 3-0 with Zack Andrusiak’s second goal of the night, connecting on a rebound. Indy got on the board with just under five minutes to go in the middle frame. Andrew Bellant found the puck in between the hashmarks, then tucked it home.
* Just 14 seconds into the final period, the Cyclones made quick work on a 4-on-3 man-advantage. Sahil Panwar, in his first game back with the ‘Clones, walked down the left wing and sniped top corner.
