CYCLONES TRADE FOR TRISTAN ASHBROOK

CINCINNATI, OH –The Cincinnati Cyclones, proud ECHL affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs, received forward Tristan Ashbrook from the Adirondack Thunder today in exchange for the rights to forward Patrick Polino.

With Adirondack last season, Ashbrook skated in 69 games and put up 57 points (32g, 25a). Tristan led the Thunder in a handful of offensive categories including points, goals and power-play goals, game-winning goals. The 26-year-old was also dominant during Adirondack’s postseason running, pacing the club with 16 points (8g, 8a).

Last year was Ashbrook’s first full season as a pro, following five contests with the Savannah Ghost Pirates in 2022-23. A native of Manistique, Michigan, he played three seasons of college hockey at Michigan Tech and one at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Tristan notched 37 goals and 21 assists throughout his 128 games played at the NCAA level.

Prior to his collegiate and professional career, the righty-shooting forward skated two seasons with the USHL’s Lincoln Stars and was the team’s assistant captain in 2018-19.
