Cincinnati, Ohio - The Cincinnati Cyclones today announced that forward Noah Kane will be returning to the organization after a brief stint overseas. Kane will rejoin the Cyclones after starting off the 2024-25 season with Joensuun Kiekko-Pojat, also known as JoKP, from the Mestis Finnish league.
Kane, 25, is now in his second stint with the Cyclones. In his first season, the Buffalo native skated in 16 games for Cincinnati where he recorded two goals and four assists. Kane scored his first professional goal as a member of the Cyclones on March 22, 2024 against the Indy Fuel on the road.
Following his time in Cincinnati, Kane joined JoKP and appeared in 28 games for the Finnish-based club. He would record seven goals, 11 assists this season before his departure to North America.
Prior to his professional career, Kane played collegiate hockey with Long Island University where he played alongside current Cyclones forward, Remy Parker. In both of his seasons with LIU, Kane was a top 10 forward in points with 16 goals and 31 assists in his two years. Kane’s brother Noah was a college hockey player with Lake Forest College. In addition, Kane’s cousin Patrick is a three-time Stanley Cup Champion with the Chicago Blackhawks and currently plays wing for the Detroit Red Wings.
