CYCLONES ACQUIRE BRAYDEN GUY FROM ALLEN AMERICANS

Cincinnati, Ohio - The Cincinnati Cyclones today announced that the organization has acquired forward Brayden Guy from the Allen Americans in exchange for forward Noah Kane.

Guy, 23, is currently in his third professional season and hails from Brampton, Ontario. Most recently, he started out the 2024-25 regular season with the Allen Americans. In 55 games with Allen, the winger has recorded 11 goals, six assists this season. Last season, Guy earned his first callup to the AHL, appearing in two games with the Springfield Thunderbirds (St. Louis Blues affiliate). He made his AHL debut on March 1, 2024 against the Providence Bruins.

Cincinnati will be the fourth ECHL team he’s played for in his career, with prior stops in Reading and starting his pro career with the Orlando Solar Bears.

Prior to his professional career, Guy spent most of his junior career playing for the Sarnia Sting of the OHL, before concluding his fourth season with the Guelph Storm. In four seasons playing in the OHL, Guy appeared in 218 games, recording 121 points (68 goals, 56 assists) between his tenures with Sarnia and Guelph.
