CYCLONES ADD TO DEFENSE CORE, SIGN DALTON NORRIS FROM BOWLING GREEN
CINCINNATI, Ohio - The Cincinnati Cyclones, proud ECHL affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs, today announced that defenseman Dalton Norris has signed with the team ahead of the 2026-27 season. With his signing, Norris will play in his first full professional season with the Cyclones after concluding his collegiate career.
Norris, 24, finished his senior year at Bowling Green State University with one goal and 12 assists (13 points) in 27 games played. The Oxford, Mississippi native served as the captain of the Falcons in his final year after serving as an assistant captain in the year prior. In his best season with the Falcons, he led all defensemen in assists (15) and points (17) during his junior season. He recorded 51 total points (10g, 41a) over the course of his four collegiate seasons with the Falcons.
At the junior level, he spent three seasons in the USHL. Norris spent three full seasons with the Lincoln Stars after appearing in one game with the United States National Team Development Program in the prior season. Norris wore the captain’s “C” for the Stars in his final season where he had a career season with 54 points (26g, 28a). Over his four year junior career, he recorded 28 goals and 44 assists (72 points) over the span of 137 career games.
