KIRWAN AND MITTON’S TWO-GOAL EFFORTS LEAD CYCLONES TO FOURTH STRAIGHT WIN

FISHERS, Ind. (Nov. 3, 2026) - The Cincinnati Cyclones defeated the Indy Fuel in a 7-5 slugfest on Tuesday morning at Fishers Event Center. A three-point performance from Ryan Kirwan and Sahil Panwar handed Cincinnati the divisional victory to kickstart a four-game week for the Cyclones.

  • Indy got it started just 1:13 into play. A breakaway finish from Kyler Kupka (3) gave Indy an early lead. It would be short-lived after Cincinnati stormed back with two goals in 1:10 to take their first lead of the game. Ryan Kirwan (4) scored Cincinnati’s opener off feeds from Sahil Panwar and Matt Copponi to knot up the game.

  • Simon Labelle (1) scored on a centering feed from Ryan Kirwan and Liam Kidney to give Cincinnati their first lead of the game. With his goal, Labelle notched his first professional goal and now has points in two of his first three outings with the Cyclones.

  • The Fuel would score two more to take the lead heading into the second period. Off goals from Jacob Perrault (2) and Mitchell Hoelscher (3) on a penalty shot, Indy carried a 3-2 lead going into the middle frame. Cincinnati would respond with three goals in the second period to flip the script.

  • Ross Mitton (2) scored to tie the game at 3-3 at the 7:16 mark of the second period. Indy would retake the lead off Jacob Perrault’s (3) second of the game. But Cincinnati responded with two more of their own from Matt Anderson (2) and Sahil Panwar (5). With his goal, Panwar now has five multi-point performances in his first seven games played since returning to Cincinnati.

  • In the final frame, Ryan Kirwan (5) scored his second of the game to give the Cyclones a 6-4 cushion early in the period. He is now tied for the team lead in goals with his fifth goal of the campaign. His fifth of the season would serve as the game-winning goal.

  • Indy would again claw their way back into the conversation with a late goal from the extra attacker, Cody Laskosky (6). Ross Mitton (3) would ice the game with the empty net finish to record his first multi-goal performance of the season.

The Cyclones will face the Fuel once again in a rematch on Friday night. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. ET and can be streamed on FloHockey and the Cyclones Radio Network. The game will also be broadcast on 19.3 The Rock. The game will serve as the team’s annual Pride Night with specialty jerseys that will be auctioned off after the game.
