SAHIL PANWAR EARNS ECHL PLUS PERFORMER OF THE MONTH HONORS FOR OCTOBER
CINCINNATI, Ohio (Nov. 4, 2026) - The Cincinnati Cyclones, in conjunction with the ECHL, today announced that forward Sahil Panwar is the AMI Graphics ECHL Plus Performer of the Month for October. After leading the ECHL with a plus-minus rating of +10 in October, Panwar won the monthly league award for the first time in his career.
Panwar currently sits in a tie for the league lead in points (15) with five goals and ten assists through seven games played. His ten assists are the most in the ECHL heading into the weekend. In October, Panwar had a plus rating in each game the Cyclones played in. His most productive nights included a +3 rating on Oct. 17 and Oct. 28 against the Indy Fuel.
His +12 rating makes him the league leader in plus-minus as the Cyclones prepare for a three-game weekend. His seven-game point streak is tied for the longest of his professional career, after a similar stretch in his rookie season (2023-24). In 131 career ECHL games, Panwar has 42 goals and 51 assists (93 points) to his credit between his stints in Cincinnati, Indy and Bloomington.
This marks the first time a Cincinnati Cyclone has been awarded with the Plus Performer of the Month award since February of the 2018-19 season (Eric Knodel). In addition, AMI will present Panwar with a personalized Plus Performer of the Month Banner during an on-ice ceremony at an upcoming Cyclones’ home game.
